Going Green Hard for Some

A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds that more Americans than ever, 60%, up from 48% a decade ago, believe that global warming has begun to affect the climate. A slightly larger percentage think it will cause major or extreme changes in climate and weather during the next 50 years. Yet most people will not make a sacrifice in dollars or time to make thing better. Full report from USA Today.

This type of statistic always astonishes me - do most people really believe that we're going to find the right technological fixes soon enough and do they really believe that thet're not even the slightest bit responsible themselves?
